Succeeding being under the tutelage of Dr. Gallego-Delgado and obtaining my B.A. in Biology, I have since been occupied as a Mental Health Counselor. Striving to be a holistically caring Physician and make a positive influence in the ethnic disparities of American healthcare, I am also currently preparing myself for the MCAT and further developing my skills to become a stronger applicant for medical school.

Daniela Basave
Daniela received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology in Biomedical Sciences in the Spring of 2021. She has taken mostly biology courses with an emphasis on practices in infectious diseases, including Virology, Microbiology, and Parasitology. She will continue her studies at Tufts University where she will pursue a Masters degree in Infectious Diseases and Global Health. Her overall goal is to bring awareness to Neglected Tropical Diseases and emerging diseases as a healthcare provider and researcher in this field.
